On 7th of January at midnight, Secret Garden OST Part 5 is released via various music online sites, including Hyun Bin’s version of ‘That Man’. The song gained tremendous popularity as soon as it was released.
Despite his busy schedules, Hyun Bin participated in the recording, bringing a different version of ‘That man’ with his attractive bass voice.
This OST also includes ‘Here I am’, the version by Yoon Sang Hyun, ‘One Woman’ by Bebe Mignon and instrumental music used in Secret Garden.
Held on 31st Dec at SBS Drama Awards, Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin from ‘Secret Garden’, along side with 2 other couples, Lee Seung Ki and Shin Min Ah from ‘My girlfriend is Gumiho’, and Joo Sang Wook and Hwang Jung Eum from ‘Giant’ become the Best Couples of the year.
This News has pleasantly surprised me, the male lead of ‘Secret Garden’, Hyun Bin will sing ‘That Man/Guy’, the male version of Baek Ji Young’s ‘That Woman’. Secret Garden has released 3 OST parts so far, and each has been very popular with its release. With Hyun Bin involving in the music production and singing this song, it definitely adds weight and another layer of meaning to the music and story.
I have never heard Hyun Bin sing before, but I guess it is not about his singing skills, more about what the song will express for his character. Besides, he does have a very attractive voice, so it should not be too bad 🙂 The news also mentions that Hyun Bin himself is very passionate about his role in this drama, he participated in the making of the OST despite his tight filming schedules.
Hyun Bin’s version of ‘That Man’ will be released in Part 4 of Secret Garden OST, together with a new song ‘You are my everything’ and Yoon Sang Hyun’s version of ‘Here I am’.
Aired on 12th SBS in the 10th episode of ‘Secret Garden’, Hyun Bin transformed himself into a variety of extras showing off his comic side to viewers.
Hyun Bin’s character Joo Won joins Ra Im’s action school to a drama set where he turned into an extra playing policeman and bandit for 2 different scenes. Underneath his good looks, Hyun Bin can be really funny as well. Have a good laugh again 🙂
An other press conference for the current airing drama ‘Secret Garden’ is held on 8th of December at Maiim Vision Village (the place where Joo Won and Oscar live in the drama). At the conference, Ha Ji Won, Hyun Bin and Yoon Sang Hyun shared about their characters, popularity of the drama, the ‘kissing’ scene between Oscar and Joo Won, and the soul exchange experience.

Due to the increasing popularity of SBS weekend drama ‘Secret Garden’, someone (huge thanks to him/her!) has put together a mosaic consisting 70 different facial expressions even labelled each expression with dialogues of Hyun Bin as Kim Joo Won from the drama and released it to the public.
This collection of expressions is taken from scenes such as when Joo Won is thinking about Ra Im, telling others that he is Ra Im’s super fan at the department store and telling Ra Im that she is pretty even when she is angry. It is very well made and has captured many great Joo Won moments from the drama so far.
Both actor Hyun Bin and actress Ha Ji Won attended the world premiere screening for actor Jang Dong-gun’s Hollywood debut film “The Warrior’s Way” held at the COEX Megabox theater in Seoul, South Korea on November 22, 2010.
At the end of episode 2, Kim Joo Won (by Hyun Bin) grabs the hand of Gil Ra Im (by Ha Ji Won) said “To me, this woman is Kim Tae-hee and Jeon Do-youn (top Korean actresses).” Once again Hyun Bin puts on his charm and captures the hearts of viewers.
Hyun Bin has done a fine job portraying a wealthy young man falls in love with Gil Ra Im who is from a totally different background. There is this cute and innocent charm to Bin’s character Kim who maybe rich and arrogant but never annoying.
I like how writer Kim Eun Sook and director Shin Woo Chul have done episode 2, very clever! Instead of using words to say that Kim is thinking about Gil they choose to show Gil appearing next to Kim. In the park, Gil walks with Kim in his imagination and in the study room Gil appears again in different characters. Viewers are showing strong interest in this funny and witty drama, and so do I!
I have been featuring ‘Secret Garden’ a lot recently!
‘Secret Garden’ just had its first conference today at SBS head-quarter.
Hyun Bin plays a ‘bad guy’ character, graduates from United States with recognized ability but self-centered and indifferent to feelings of others. Bin played rich man a few time in his career, but he emphasizes this role is different from his previous roles in ‘My Name is Kim Sam-Soon’ and ‘A Millionaire’s First Love’.
Ha Ji-Won plays a cool stunt woman who uses her fists more than words, Ha says she is having lots of fun playing the character when they exchange souls.
Yoon Sang Hyun plays Oscar, a popular singer who likes to flirt around. Yoon says he always wants to play a singing role and this character fits well.

Hyun Bin’s new image for Secret Garden is drawing attention. He plays a department store owner, styled for an arrogant charm. Whether it is classic or casual, he is definitely looking good for his drama.
